Traip Academy Senior, Ellie, gave an impressive and inspiring presentation to the Portsmouth Propeller Club on her sailing journey which began in 2024 with the PYSA sailing team, then as a summer instructor with AYC, a voyage on the Denis Sullivan with their winter ambassador program in St. Croix and culminating with Ellie’s acceptance into the Maine Maritime Academy and sailing team this fall. Ellie is also the first recipient of a scholarship from PYSA and the Portsmouth Propeller Club making her a trail blazer for other local students looking for assistance in the maritime industry. Ellie has a bright future ahead and we at PYSA are delighted to have been part of her journey.
